Meaning of Computer Memory

Computer memory is any physical device that is able to store data temporarily or permanently.

Examples of computer memory are Random Access Memory (RAM) and Read-only Memory (ROM).

Random Access Memory (RAM)

The ram allows data items to be read or written in any computer system. It is a volatile memory. That is it loses its data when the power of a computer system is turned off.
