Why we study civic education
1 For public awareness. People should have the knowledge and understanding of their rights in their society. They should also understand their duties towards society.
2 To understand the values of our society. It helps us to understand our societal values, and practise them, to have a better society. Some of these values are:
a) Honesty
b) Cooperation
c) Self-reliance
